i almost have my brain back.
when it became apparent that i had limited time on the computer and television, and reading a book became stroke inducing.... i purchased DFW's The Broom of the System on iTunes.
it took getting used to - being read to.
but, it has been amazing.
DFW is so complicated that hearing the work can be forgotten while pushing through it. hearing the work has shown me how, not just ironic and witty, but down right SILLY, DFW could be.
